Downloading the Ebook
There are three versions of the ebook of Spanking for Grownups -- the first is the .aeh form, which requires a special free ebook reader, easy to download at this link: download free ebook reader
Google will tell you the file is too big to scan for viruses, select "download anyway".
The file should be found in your download folder, under "This PC". It can take upwards of 5 minutes to download
The second version of the ebook is the .exe form, which opens on the desktop and does not require an ebook reader. You can download it here: Download exe ebook.
it triggers numerous warnings from windows and anti-virus programs such as Norton, that you have to cognize and indicate that you want the file opened anyway. It can be a struggle to get it open, but once it's running it works perfectly, and does not seem to hurt the computer.
After the .exe file is downloaded (give it 5 minutes to complete the download) it should eventually resolve into the icon below
Then, when you click on the icon, the window below appears. Click "Install". This will open the ebook. You have to disregard any warnings from windows or Norton, and tell them to open it anyway. If you're installing a new version, it will ask you whether to overwrite. Check "don't ask again" and choose "yes".
The Third Ebook
The third ebook is unusual, but it works very well, and is very quick. It consists of a folder, containing all of the website files. If you have it on your desktop and open the folder, only two of the files are relevant. One is titled “READ THIS FIRST”, and the other is “index.htm”.
If you double-click “index.htm”, the website will immediately open in your browser, even if you are offline, and will act just like the website. (Internet Explorer can be a problem, but Chrome and Edge both work fine.) You can import any of the downloads, because they are all embedded in the website.
So the folder is a standalone ebook.
One advantage that this ebook has is that if spankingforgrownups.net ever disappears from the web, due to my having passed on, anyone may restore it, by any name at all, simply by uploading this folder to a webhost.
I give blanket permission for this to be done, as long as nothing is changed. If you wish to quote a particular section in another place, simply give a proper citation.
Downloading
To download the ebook, you will need Filezilla or some other FTP transfer utility. If you don't have Filezilla, you will find that it can be troublesome to install in Windows 11. The AI unit Deepseek guided me through the install, clearly, competently, and simply. Deepseek's URL is chat.deepseek.com
Once you have Filezilla up and running, these are the parameters for downloading the ebook:
Parameters
Host: biz236.inmotionhosting.com
Username getebook@unistreligion.net
Password sforg#12Ebook (note the capital E)
Port 21
Put a new folder on your desktop. Call it anything you want. Open Filezilla. Enter the parameters above and hit "Quick Connect". In the left panel, navigate to the folder you have chosen on your desktop and highlight it. In the right panel, double-click the folder EBOOK to open it. Hit Control-A to highlight all the files. Right click on any highlighted file, and select "Download". All of the files, (over 300) will be transferred to your selected folder.
Open the folder. Only two of the files are relevant. One is titled “READ THIS FIRST”, and the other is “index.htm”.
If you double-click “index.htm”, the website will immediately open in your browser, even if you are offline, and will act just like the website.
